During my dissertation I would like to research how structured and unstructured overlays can be exploited for replica management in scalable, self-organizing wireless ad-hoc networks in context of IT-supported disaster management. The goal is to deliver a universal protocol where decisions are taken locally by the nodes for enhancing data availability and systems efficiency with the desired QoS. The approach shall be taken with respect to the overall process characteristics.
